St. PETERSBURG, April 29 – RIA Novosti. The ban on participation in divine services of parishioners in temples of St. Petersburg diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church was extended because of the situation with coronavirus until further notice, reads the statement of the Metropolitan of St. Petersburg and Ladoga Varsonofy.
Earlier it was reported that in accordance with the appeal of the Metropolitan churches the diocese of St. Petersburg from 14 to 19 April conducted services without the participation of the congregation because of the situation with coronavirus, then the ban on participation in the worship of the congregation is extended till April 28.
