After the publication of “Russian newspaper” the investigative Committee began checking on the fact of deprivation of the status of the veteran of the great Patriotic war, the inhabitant of Sevastopol Galina Tarasova.
About the problem faced by 90-year-old veteran, we’ve written 12 Feb. During the transition from Ukrainian to Russian law Sebastopol officials did not recognize some documents, Galina, and others just ignored. In the end she was no longer considered the workers in the rear, six years did not accrue two required by law payments. IC officers immediately reacted to the publication, met with the veteran and agreed to help defend her rights.
– At the direction of the acting head of the Main investigation Department of the RF IC in the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol Vladimir Terentyev was organized procedural check. Currently, the staff of investigative Department at the Gagarin district in cooperation with the Prosecutor’s office and the Commissioner for human rights in Sevastopol all necessary measures are taken to restore Galina in the legal status of veteran of the great Patriotic war, – have informed in a press-Department service.
In the UK confirmed that after the arrest of their parents political article Galina Alekseevna came to the orphanage of the city of Gorky, the students who worked in farm fields, sewed in the workshops of clothes, stocking bandages for the hospitals, he read and sang for the soldiers. In 1997, on the basis of archival reference, it was recognized as a participant in the war – the workers in the rear. However, in 2017, when Tarasova filed for the replacement of the veteran’s certificates of the Ukrainian sample on the Russian, she refused. In the division of social protection said that on the basis of its references, it is impossible to establish the status of veteran of the great Patriotic war.
As told in the press service, during the short time the officers of the Investigative Committee became good friends of the family Tarasov. On the eve of Victory Day they visited the veteran in the shares of the SC “Without attention does not remain” and donated gifts Galina Alekseevna, observing safety precautions during the period of the coronavirus.
