Addressing the participants of the event, the head of the region said that the spread of coronavirus infection resulted in a decline in economic activity, dismissal of employees of number of enterprises and organizations.
– the Number of people registered at employment centers has increased. Me as Governor of this worries. Today in the Penza region has 13.5 thousand jobs, which can be offered to unemployed citizens, – said Ivan Belozertsev. – Found in cities and regions with people who are out of work, thus, they do not always know that there are vacant seats. The challenge for representatives of enterprises and organizations is to actively communicate information about vacancies to the residents. It is very important that employees were paid a decent wage.
the head of the region noted that the pace of economic growth over the past five years, the Penza region takes the second place among regions of Volga Federal district. Even this year the index of industrial production increased by five percent compared to the same period last year. This allowed the Penza region to take the second place in Volga Federal district.
– Good performance recorded in the agricultural sector and housing construction. It is precisely in these sectors of the economy, especially among the construction contractors, widespread illegal employment. With unregistered labour, cheating workers, we will actively fight, involving law enforcement bodies, – said Ivan Belozertsev.

After the official opening of the fair jobs, he got acquainted with the proposals of the employers who talked with job seekers, said the size of the proposed wages and conditions for legal employment.
