Experts assembled for a day of 55 cubic meters of fuel / water mixtures on the spot of the accident at the power plant in Norilsk, since the beginning of the works collected 33 031 thousand cubic meters, told journalists the representative of the operational headquarters.
"During the day, gathered fuel and water mixture 55 cubic meters (only 33 031 cubic metres), including: with the waters of the rivers 5 cubic meters (25 cubic 563 m); pumped from the Sumps 50 cubic meters (only 7 468 cu. m)", – said the representative oberstab.
According to him, in storage areas on-site CHP-3 removed 4 620 tons of contaminated surface soil (total 929 157 tons). The treated sorbent is 7.9 kilometres of coastline, 15 820 "squares" contaminated area, neutralized the water surface with sorbent (total processed of 118.7 km of coastline 228 720 sq. m of the polluted territory).
On liquidation of emergency situations work 435 people and 207 units. The aviation group is four aircraft.
One of the storage tanks of diesel fuel at TPP-3 (belongs to JSC "NTEC" within group "Norilsk Nickel") in Norilsk on may 29 was damaged due to the subsidence of the supports of the Foundation, there was an emergency with a leak about 21 thousand tons of fuel. "Norilsk Nickel" said the main reason for the accident, the warming in the permafrost, which resulted in the movement of the supports under the fuel tanks. On the territory of the Krasnoyarsk region introduced a state of emergency at the Federal level. MOE reported on the localization of the spilled fuel. A criminal case was instituted under several articles of the criminal code.
