For 11 years, since the beginning of the creation of air ambulance in town, can be found here brigade medevac choppers rescued 6100 somatic patients and victims of road accidents and other emergencies. On Board the hospital helicopter pilot are 2 Moscow aviation center and the joint team can be found here: doctors and paramedics of the Scientific-practical center for emergency medicine of Moscow health Department and anesthesiologist-resuscitator of Moscow aviation centre, with the additional qualification of “rescuer”.

in 2015 with the help of sanitary helicopters in the medical institutions of the capital of the Troitsky and Novomoskovsky administrative areas deliver patients with heart attacks, strokes and other severe diseases requiring emergency medical care. 2018 helicopters are on duty around the clock. Currently, medevac helicopters ВК117С-2 Moscow aviation centre on duty in the territories of the city clinical hospital № 15 named after O. M. Filatov and No. 79 in the name of S. S. Yudin. If necessary, the crews of medevac choppers fly on duty in a children’s hospital named after Z. A. Vashlaevoj in Tushino.

For operation of air ambulance in the operational management of the Moscow aviation center is 27 helipads: 5 – at urban teaching hospitals, 1 – on the ring road and 21 in the New areas.

In the long term planned expansion of sanitary aviation of Moscow, which already in hospitals are being built helipads and purchased necessary equipment for their operation.
