Circulation coronavirus in Moscow fell four or five times over the last week. This was stated by Director of the Central research Institute (CRI) epidemiology Vasily Akimkin in the program “Doc-Talk” on the First channel, reports TASS.
Currently, the rate in the capital is 2.6 percent, and 3.8-3.9 percent.
According to him, in Moscow, is the increase of the testing population, however, there is no growth in the number of new infections. It tells about the fall of the circulation of the virus among the population.
Informed the main epidemiologist of Ministry of health of Russia Nikolay Briko expressed hope that the situation with the spread of the novel coronavirus have stabilized and gradually the country will begin to cancel the restrictive measures.
As of may 18, in Russia revealed 290 678 infected with coronavirus in 85 regions of the country. For the last day was 8926 new infections. The number of healed patients increased to more than 70 thousand people. For the entire period died 2722 person.
