In Moscow at the age of 84 years died Edward Ustenko, who was one of the most successful agents of the Soviet Union in English-speaking countries. This writes with reference to “Komsomolskaya Pravda”.
According to the newspaper, about the death Ustenko said his daughter.
“According to preliminary data, the man died from acute heart failure. The exact same reason will likely be called a forensic examination”, – said the knowledgeable source.
Ustenko was an officer in the foreign intelligence, retired, and in its time was one of the most successful Soviet agents in English-speaking countries. He was engaged in exploration in Australia in 1960-e years, after which he was sent to England. In 1972 he left the service in the third Department of the KGB.
