There was an exchange of fire with the police in Baden-Württemberg. One person was killed by a police officer’s shot. The LKA takes over the investigation.
One person died in a shootout with the police on Friday in Mosbach, Baden-Württemberg (Neckar-Odenwald district). According to the State Criminal Police Office, the fatal shot was fired by the police.
The crime scene was cordoned off, the LKA took over the investigation, the spokesman said on request. The public prosecutor’s office and the LKA only want to provide further details in the evening.
In a total of 14 districts in three federal states, the German weather service warns with the red alert. At the moment it is still unusually warm. But next week it should finally snow significantly – at least in the mountains.
