In the Kyiv city Council supported the proposal to make mandatory the national anthem before lessons in all city schools. According to Deputy Oleg Bondarchuk, the national anthem is to teach children patriotism.
“Today at the session of the Kyiv city Rada was supported by our sobolowski project about the beginning of the national anthem of Ukraine in schools of Kyiv. This will contribute to the education of patriotism among the younger generation,” — said Bondarchuk.
Previously, the draft decision was considered by the members of the standing Committee of Kyiv city Council on issues of education, science, family, youth and sports. Then the initiative was supported unanimously, however, made a number of amendments.
In particular, decided to fulfill the glorious Ukrainian in institutions of General secondary education all types and forms of ownership, and also said that singing the national anthem you need at the beginning of each day and during special events “with the participation of the beneficiaries of education (students) and teaching staff”.
