The President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev urged to prepare for new outbreak of coronavirus. This was reported by “Kazinform”.
“I have already said, we must be prepared to re-flash the coronavirus, the situation is exacerbated by the presence of persistent natural foci and other especially dangerous infections to the territory of our country and neighboring countries”, – said the head of state.
He also noted that “inconsistent reforms” led to the fact that it was weakened service sanitary and epidemiological surveillance system and infection control.
“we Need to turn to proven models. (…) The system of biological security should work on common standards and ensure effective international cooperation and response to threats”, – said the President, giving also the order to develop to the end of the year the law on biological security of the country.
