Law enforcement bodies of Georgia detained three and fined 14 citizens – members of the opposition political Association “Garci” held a protest action with a demand to cancel the extension of state of emergency, imposed because of the spread of coronavirus in the country, said the interior Ministry.

“Therefore, the MIA has fined the leader of the political party “Garci” Zurab Japaridze and 14 activists of the party of 3 thousand laris (about $ 960), and three individuals were detained for petty hooliganism and disobeying the police”, – said in the Ministry statement.
