In the Crimea, detained two natives of Central Asia who were going to travel to Syria to participate in the activities of international terrorist organizations. This was reported by the press service of the FSB Department for the Republic of Kazakhstan and Sevastopol.
According to authorities, the suspects – young people aged 18 and 20 years old, professing the ideas of radical Islam. They were planning through a third country to leave the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic to participate in the armed conflict in the ranks of the terrorists.
Krasnodar FSB has prevented act of terrorism
Ready to join the ranks of mercenaries, terrorists, suspects have bought camouflage uniforms and medicines. To get to the destination, the Islamists were going through Krasnodar, Tbilisi and Istanbul. For the trip to Krasnodar men ordered a taxi. They also purchased bus tickets Krasnodar – Tbilisi and flights Tbilisi – Istanbul. From Turkey, the radicals were going to the chaise to get to Syria.
However, to travel outside of the Peninsula, the suspects did not – they were detained by employees UFSB. Now they are charged with part 1 of article 30 and part 2 of article 205.5 of the criminal code (preparation to commit a crime of participation in the activities of the organization, which in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation as terrorist). Terrorist supporters remanded in custody for a period of two months.
