Earlier it was reported that a decree was issued, which would allow release of prison inmates over the age of 60, pregnant women and mothers with children up to three years, people with disabilities who have been sentenced for up to five years and who has served for 40% of the time. This list does not include those convicted of corruption, rape, murder and crimes associated with drugs.

“Inpec began the use of incentives granted to the first 44 persons deprived of their liberty. Forty are men and four are women,” wrote the Institute on Twitter.

As specified, a transfer was made 19 people with a temporary measure to house arrest in the coming days, will transfer the remaining 25 people.
