The staff of the candidate in presidents of Belarus Svetlana Tikhanovski rejected the possibility of a second round of presidential elections in the country. This was stated by press-Secretary Anna krasulina Tikhanovski the radio station "Ekho Moskvy", reports TASS.

Krasulina expressed the view that the world community recognizes Tikhanovski elected President of Belarus.

August 9, in Belarus presidential elections were held. After the polls closed, the country began mass protests against the falsification of the results. All the staffs of the opposition candidates have declared non-recognition of the official election results. During the protests police used against the demonstrators with tear gas, stun grenades and rubber bullets.
