Exactly a quarter of a century the Belarusian people on the second Sunday of may, the Day of state emblem and flag of the Republic of Belarus, established by the decree of the President of Belarus in 1995.

Along with the national anthem these important national symbols, emphasized in his congratulatory address, which was quoted on may 10, the press service of the head of state, “contribute to the consolidation of society, preservation of continuity of generations, inspire for new achievements for the benefit of the Fatherland”.
the President expressed his belief that United people can “successfully meet all the challenges effectively to develop the economy, strengthen and protect the sovereignty and security of Belarus”. He wished all the citizens good health, happiness, joy and prosperity. “Let this holiday will be for every Belarusian embodiment of our common victories and achievements, will give confidence in the future”, – concluded the President.
