A powerful explosion occurred on Sunday in the city of Jalalabad, the administrative center of the Afghan province of Nangarhar. This was reported by the Afghan television channel Tolo News.
According to him, the bomber detonated a car loaded with explosives near the prison in the fourth district of Jalalabad.
The Ministry of justice confirmed the fact of explosion, but has not yet provided any information about possible victims of the incident in the provincial capital of Nangarhar.
