But I do it anyway, for I am also a citizen of this country and the father of three young adults, who for many years have to live with the consequences of the way we handle the terrible covid-19-pandemic. I choose to say things as I mean them.
And I’m very, very concerned about the line the government has laid for the reopening of Denmark!
It was wise to step on the brake and shut Denmark down the 11. march. Even if it was pressed harder on the brakes than there was coverage of the health authorities.
I Wonder if the prime minister ”ran them over” in sheer irritation that they are not long enough caught the seriousness and the derived Danish consequences of the disease before christmas broke out in a dyremarked in China… So the slogan of ”better to do too much too soon than too little too late”, made perfect sense. It was not evidence-based, but it was resolute political leadership. Respect for it.
