TV presenter Vladimir Pozner in the air NSN said that the result of voting on amendments to the Constitution didn’t surprise him.
The result of the vote on the amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation 77,92% of Russians supported the changes in the main law of the country. Against them in favor of 21.27%. These data were provided by the CEC, after processing 100% of protocols.
TV presenter Vladimir Pozner in an interview with NSN said he was not surprised by such indicators of voting on amendments.
“I believe that 78% in the whole country correspond to reality. Although, as we know, in some regions, particularly in Moscow and Nizhny Novgorod region, the number was much less, the number AGAINST was much more. But overall, I am absolutely not surprised by this result. I believe that for most people it was not about the Constitution, and about trust to Putin. To date, I have no doubt that the great majority of the Russian population trusts President Putin, which is reflected in the result of the vote,” said Posner.
The journalist expressed the opinion that after the entry into force of the amending relationship between the government and society will not change.
“I don’t understand why you may experience some issues. What was their relationship, they are and will remain. If anyone carefully read the 206 amendments, and I am sure that the vast majority of voters did not, noted that there are no such things as something radically changed the relationship between government and society. At least I have not seen such,” – said the source NSN.
Earlier the General Director of the Institute of regional problems Dmitry Zhuravlev shared with reporters his thoughts about the finished voting on amendments to the Constitution.
