Actor Zachery Ty Bryan, known for his role as Brad Taylor on the popular 90s sitcom “Home Improvement,” has once again found himself in trouble with the law. Bryan was arrested in Oklahoma on suspicion of driving under the influence for the second time this year. This incident occurred on the morning of October 25th, and he was booked in Custer County for allegedly driving under the influence without a valid driver’s license.
Bryan’s arrest was captured on dashcam footage obtained by Fox News, showing him being taken into custody by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. Despite being placed in the front seat of the officer’s vehicle, Bryan refused to take a sobriety test. The probable cause affidavit revealed that Bryan was found sleeping in the back of his Range Rover, which was parked on the side of the road. He confessed to being intoxicated when the trooper pulled him over.
During the encounter with the troopers, Bryan expressed his frustration with California and mentioned that he was “running from California right now.” He admitted to having multiple DUIs in the past, acknowledging that everyone depends on him. Despite his claims that he couldn’t drive and just wanted to sleep, Bryan was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence.
This recent arrest is not the first time Bryan has faced legal trouble. In February, he was arrested in LaQuinta, California, for showing signs of impairment during a traffic stop. Additionally, last summer, he was arrested in Oregon for alleged domestic violence, robbery, and harassment charges. Although most of the charges were dropped, Bryan pleaded guilty to assault and menacing charges in 2021, resulting in probation and a fine.
Bryan’s troubled past stands in stark contrast to his early success as a child actor on “Home Improvement.” In the years following the show, he appeared in films such as “The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift” and “Thor: Hammer of the Gods.” Despite his recent legal issues, Bryan continues to pursue acting, with his latest work listed in 2022 film “The Guardians of Justice (Will Save You!).”
It is clear that Zachery Ty Bryan’s personal struggles have overshadowed his professional accomplishments in recent years. As he navigates the consequences of his actions, it remains to be seen how this latest arrest will impact his career and personal life moving forward.
