In April rose significantly and buckwheat — by 12% against 6.2% in March. The price increases by 15% or more was noted in 27 regions, the largest in Northern Ossetia (35.7%) and Penza region (26.3%).
In General, cereals and legumes in April rose by 6.8% versus 2.9% in March. So, polished rice became more expensive by 6.1%, peas and beans, 2.9%, oat flakes “Hercules” — by 2.4%, semolina — by 2.3%, oat and barley cereals by 1.8%, millet — by 1.6%.

According to Rosstat, sugar in April rose 7.1%. But the growth rate slowed down significantly compared to March, when prices rose by 13.5%.

Rosstat also reported that chicken meat and wheat flour in April rose by 3.2%. In General, meat prices, including poultry, in April rose 1.4% against 1.1% in March.
