Presented in March at the International Festival of Films on Art (FIFA), the feature documentary Beyond the Paper by Oana Suteu Khintirian, produced by the NFB, will be able to be seen in theaters from April 7, at the Cinémathèque Quebec, in Montreal, and at Le Clap Cinema Place Ste-Foy, in Quebec.
In this graphic film, the director undertakes a journey across the planet to better understand the infinite possibilities as well as the pitfalls of the digital shift; particularly with the question of preserving our heritage and our collective memory. Between her personal story and the global phenomenon of the digital shift, the filmmaker examines this transition in a lucid and poetic way.
In Montreal, screenings at the Cinémathèque québécoise on April 7, 9 and 10 will be followed by a question and answer session with the filmmaker.
