European countries can open the border by mid-summer, writes the daily web newspaper of the Russian Union of travel industry.
The publication notes that the authorities of the European States gradually soften quarantine conditions. According to the recommendations of the European Commission, followed — as the situation is improving — must be followed by the opening of the internal borders of the EU and only after external. Thus between each of the stages required to pass at least a month. “It turns out that Europe is to open in mid-summer,” the author concluded.
Earlier, the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen advised tourists not to rush to book a trip to Europe for the summer. In addition, the Chancellor of Austria Sebastian Kurz said that the usual freedom of movement in Europe should not wait until development of a vaccine against the virus.
