Germany decided to open schools to allow athletic events, the timing will discuss on may 6, said German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
“We agreed to re-open playgrounds and cultural institutions such as museums, exhibition halls, galleries, memorials, as well as Zoological and Botanical gardens – subject to the conditions,” – said Merkel, RIA “Novosti”.
She said that on 6 may, the officials will discuss and decide in what order and how will be schools, kindergartens and some sports facilities.
Question about the opening of cultural institutions is in the competence of the länder, the Chancellor added.
Earlier it was reported that more than half of German citizens agreed with the phased opening of schools, many support and resume stores.
