In the Personnel Center of the Moscow Department of Health, general practitioners have already completed 75 percent of the professional development program, said Yulia Uvarova, acting director of the Personnel Center.
In addition, general practitioners have completed training in such areas as otorhinolaryngology, ophthalmology, dermatovenerology, neurology, endocrinology, urology, as well as infectious diseases.
The training programs were developed with the participation of leading physicians of city hospitals and polyclinics and chief freelance specialists of the City Department of Health. Each educational module consists of theoretical and practical parts and lasts 18 academic hours. The students master the theoretical part online, it contains algorithms for the diagnosis and treatment of the most common diseases using modern methods and drugs. The practical part includes practicing skills on simulation and medical equipment and solving situational tasks in the Personnel Center. The acquired knowledge and skills make it possible to reduce the time of diagnosis and increase the effectiveness of prescribed therapy.
After completing each module, doctors undergo final certification. Successfully mastered educational modules are taken into account in the system of continuing medical and pharmaceutical education.

Specialists of the Personnel Center of Depzdrav are engaged in continuous professional and additional education, provide methodological support, conduct evaluation procedures and accreditation. The center includes 31 simulation stations equipped with specialized equipment to demonstrate the practical skills of a doctor. The park of high-tech equipment used for evaluation and training includes more than 1.1 thousand simulators, simulators, medical and related equipment.
