The Austin City Limits Music Festival is a popular event that draws in music lovers from all over. With the high cost of the festival, it’s important to get the most out of your money and experience all that ACL has to offer. One key aspect of the festival experience is the food, and luckily ACL Eats offers a wide variety of options to choose from.
This year, festivalgoers can look forward to a new addition to the lineup – La Pachanga Eatery. Teaming up with Taco Mafia, this eatery will bring eight taqueros and Mexican eats that are new to ACL. Alongside popular taco trucks like Discada, Con Todo, and La Santa Barbacha, attendees can also enjoy Mexican eateries like Paprika ATX, Vaquero Taquero, and Veracruz All Natural. For those craving barbecue, CM Smokehouse will be serving up barbecue crunchwraps, while Cuantas Hamburguesas will be flipping “Mexican-style smash burgers” for hungry festival attendees.
In addition to the wide array of food options, The Big Tent (formerly Barton Springs Beer Hall) will be offering a variety of local beer favorites, as well as pizzas from Bambino, a new pizzeria by L’Oca d’Oro owners. And for those with a sweet tooth, ACL Sweets is back for its second year, featuring favorites like Amy’s Ice Creams, Bananarchy, and Tiny Pies, as well as newcomers like CVT Soft Serve, Gelato Paradiso, and Dulce Amor Mio.
One exciting comeback this year is The Mighty Cone, known for their “Hot ‘n Crunchy Cone.” After a hiatus, they will be returning to the ACL Eats village to delight festival attendees with their unique fried delights.
With so much to see, do, and eat at ACL, it’s sure to be a memorable experience for all. Be sure to check out The Austin Chronicle’s ACL Festival preview for more information, and support independent journalism by making a donation to help keep the community informed.
