the Pavilion “Agriculture” (“Ukrainian SSR”) built by the architect Alexei Doing the opening of the exhibition in 1954. Visitors can see recreations of the gates of the Nativity Cathedral in Suzdal, on the wings of gold of which depict scenes from the New Testament related to Christ and the virgin.

— replica Ostromir gospel, the oldest manuscripts of Kievan Rus written by deacon Gregory for the Novgorod mayor Ostromir in the years 1056-1057 (the original is kept in the Russian national library in St. Petersburg);
a replica of the Bible of Francysk Skaryna — the first printed Bible in the Cyrillic alphabet, published in the years 1517-1519 in Prague, the Belarusian enlightener Francis Skaryna (the original is kept in the scientific library of Moscow state University named after M. V. Lomonosov);
— replica “sermon on law and grace” — one of the oldest monuments of old Russian literature.
In the center of the “Word” you can see a reconstruction of the first Russian printing house of Ivan Fedorov. Unfortunately, the historical object to our days has not been preserved. There is a legend that the enemies tried to burn the machine pioneer. The causes have not been proven: even there is a version that the order to destroy the printing press gave Ivan the terrible himself. Therefore, to add realism artists of modern cinema not only created the exhibit, but it burned in the special conditions.
