François Arnaud has landed a new role in the United States. The Quebec actor will co-star in the American independent drama In Transit, reports Variety.
Directed by Jaclyn Bethany (Tell That to the Winter Sea), the film will tell the story of a barmaid named Lucy (Alex Sarrigeorgiou), who agrees to pose for Ilse (Jennifer Ehle), a painter in the midst of an existential crisis. The two women will develop a relationship that will overturn their preconceptions of happiness.
François Arnaud will play the role of Lucy’s spouse, a chef called Tom. Filming starts in a few days in Damariscotta, Maine. The team will then travel to New York in February.
This is another project in our southern neighbors for François Arnaud, after having starred in the series Yellowjackets, The Moodys and Midnight, Texas. In Quebec, the actor recently distinguished himself in the cinema in Norbourg and 23 December.
