the Main exhibition of the country is launching a new project called “Literary garden”. It will unite lovers of poetry and prose. At the literary evenings of the invited actors will recite poems or excerpts of prose. Guests will be able to listen to and read aloud the artwork and discuss the creative way of the classics. The first literary evening will dedicate the Soviet poet, Yevgeny Yevtushenko sixties. It will be held on the day of his birth, July 18.
the Meeting, dedicated to the 88th anniversary of birth of Yevgeny Yevtushenko, will begin at 21:00. It will be held outdoors on the verandah of the House of culture (building No. 84). This evening there will feature poems written by the poet in the 1960s, during the thaw. It’s the lyrics, full of hope, youth and love of life. Works by Yevgeny Yevtushenko read by the actors of the theatre “Sketches in space”.
Creative readings will be accompanied by music and scenes of plastic performance. And the audience is encouraged not only to watch the action, but also to participate: you can enter into a dialogue with the actors and read their favorite poems by Yevgeny Yevtushenko.

To comply with social distance in half-meter on the veranda of the House of culture will be having special markup for Seating. At the entrance all guests will measure the temperature in a contactless manner. In case of inclement weather the event will be held in the big hall of the House of culture VDNH.
Yevgeny Yevtushenko was born in 1932 in a family of geologist Zinaida Yevtushenko, the poet-lover Alexander Gangnus. His first poem Yevgeny Yevtushenko published in 1949, and three years later he published his first book “Scouts coming”. Then he became the youngest member of the Union of writers of the USSR, and in 1963 was nominated for the Nobel prize for literature.
the fame of the poet has brought a collections of verses “the Third snow”, “Shosse Entuziastov”, “Promise”, “Verses of different years”, “Apple”. Yevgeny Yevtushenko is the author of over 150 books, translated into many languages.
Since 1991, Yevtushenko has lived in the United States but often travelled to Russia.
Yevgeny Yevtushenko died April 1, 2017. According to the last will of the poet, he was buried in Peredelkino near Boris Pasternak.
