Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law according to which officials and legal entities for illegal alterations and other housing, including basement, of premises in apartment houses is subject to administrative liability.So, according to amendments to article 7.21 of the administrative code, the penalty for illegal alterations to residential premises for officials will be from 4 to 5 thousand rubles, and for legal entities – from 40 to 50 thousand rubles.Changes include the introduction of penalties for damage to residential premises, equipment in them, and their use for other purposes.
