DFB director Oliver Bierhoff sees the German national football team in an excellent position for the 2024 home European Championship. “It’s about time, 28 years after my winning goal in 1996, to become European champion again,” said Bierhoff in an interview with the “Spox” and “Goal” portals. The pressure will “of course be enormous again. In any case, we want to be back at the top of the world by 2024.”
