Orthodox Christians remember on may 8 the Holy Apostle Mark. The people called him “the Keymaster”: according to legends, mark holds the key to the heavenly pantry where you store clouds, rains and thunderstorms. Because this day was always waiting for rain and considered them a good omen.
by the Way, if may 8 is a little rain, it heralds warm summer thunderstorms. And if the day is Sunny and clear — the summer will be hot and dry.
Special attention should be paid to the rainbow. If it is high and steep — the weather is nice and Sunny, and if the low and sloping to the bad weather. And, the greener the rainbow, the stronger the storm.
