The trailer for My Mother’s Men, Anik Jean’s feature debut, to be unveiled this Wednesday, provides a peek at a film that stars a high-flying cast including Léane Labrèche-Dor, Marc Messier, Benoît Gouin, Patrick Huard, Colm Feore, Anne-Marie Cadieux, Jean-Simon Leduc, Isabel Richer, Louis-Georges Girard and Emma Lafrenière.
In the story scripted by Maryse Latendresse, we follow the wanderings of Elsie, a young woman who inherited from her eccentric mother the mission of reconnecting with her five ex-husbands. In addition to directing the film, Anik Jean also composed the original music, the soundtrack also counting on the contribution of Patrick Watson. My Mother’s Men hits theaters on October 6.
