Its standard price is 59.99 euros, but Amazon is currently reducing it by a whopping 62 percent on Prime Day, so that customers only pay 22.99 euros. The Fire TV Stick 4K has a lot of power: A quad-core CPU, one GB of RAM, eight GB of internal memory and ac-WLAN form the basic hardware structure. The remote control is the version for Alexa and is brand new with buttons for volume control. Amazon has also upgraded the image: The small stick now supports 4K playback with HDR – regardless of whether it is HDR10, Dolby Vision, HLG or HDR10 encoded. And the new Fire TV Stick 4K now also recognizes more formats for sound, including Dolby Atmos.
In principle, all of this also applies to the Fire TV Cube, which is available for 54.99 euros. The black cube works like a “normal” echo via far-field microphones, always waiting for the trigger word to answer and carry out your questions and commands.
