Mlle Bottine’s team has been hard at work since Wednesday filming this new version of Bach and Bottine, the flagship title of the Tales for All series. Antoine Bertrand is the headliner of the film directed by Yann Lanouette Turgeon.
Miss Bottine, written by Dominic James, tells the story of the arrival of Simone (Marguerite Laurence), a rebellious orphan, in the life of her uncle Philippe (Antoine Bertrand), an opera composer lacking inspiration. As in Bach and Bottine (1986), the little girl’s best friend is… a skunk.
In addition to the two headliners, Mani Soleymanlou, Marilyn Castonguay, Benoît Gouin and Louise Turcot are part of the cast of the film resulting from a collaboration between Attraction and Productions La Fête, the company of Rock Demers, the “father” Tales for everyone.
Filming of Mlle Bottine under the direction of Yann Lanouette Turgeon (Rock, Paper, Scissors) will continue until November 9.
