Health is most important. This is the single most important message from chairman, Gianni Infantino, of Wereldvoetbalbond, FIFA, on Friday in a video message to all of the 211 affiliated trade unions.
“I can’t emphasize enough,” says Infantino. “Is not a race or a competition, is it worth it to take a human life at risk. Everyone else in the world, would be a clear example of this in my head in English. It would be more than irresponsible for the competitions to resume, and if the items are not 100% safe. If we have a little longer of a wait, we have to do it. It is better to take a little longer to wait than take the risk.”
FIFA wants to be connected to the national associations of financial help.
