According to him, this is facilitated by support measures from the state – primarily soft loans, as well as the work of the Russian manufacturers of mineral fertilizers to increase the share of production of liquid complex fertilizers. They are used effectively on low and arid lands, especially in this season.
In 2020 the Russian manufacturers of mineral fertilizers have already supplied to Russian farmers of 2.54 million tonnes of mineral fertilizers (in active ingredient), thus 67 percent of the forecasted demands of Russian farmers this year, said a member of the Board of the Russian Association of fertilizer producers Sergei Pronin, who was present at the plenary meeting of the all-Russian field day.
At the end of this year, the Ministry expects that fertilizer consumption in Russia will grow by 8.5 percent to 3.8 million tons.
