This situation in the future may lead to surge of deaths from tuberculosis. Experts warn.
In the study, it was investigated how short-term lockdown affect the growth of morbidity and mortality from TB in the next five years. As an example was taken of the country, where there are big problems with this condition: India, Kenya and Ukraine.
the Experts concluded that after five years on the planet in addition there will be 1.8 million cases of tuberculosis will die of 342.5 thousands of patients. The data of the evaluation are presented in the optimistic scenario. In the pessimistic scenario over this time, tuberculosis will get sick of 6.3 million people, fatalities that can end for 1.4 million patients.
