KIEV, 27 Jun – RIA Novosti. The police suspect ex-Deputy head of Kyiv city state administration Volodymyr Konaka in the attack on the patrol, said Monday a press-service of the police of Kiev.
Previously, the portal “operational Kiev” in Facebook reported that in Kiev arrested Konchaka, he allegedly attacked the patrol, after they stopped the car in which he was riding. According to media reports, one police officer called an ambulance and was hospitalized with an injury. The police of Kiev opened a criminal case against Konaka under article “threat or violence concerning the employee of law enforcement body”. The mayor of Kiev Vitali Klitschko said that he had fired him from his post.
“the Police of the capital reported about suspicion to the now ex-Deputy Chairman of the Kyiv city state administration (Kyiv city state administration – ed.) into the attack on the patrol. Now the question on election to it measures of restraint”, – said the press service in Facebook.
According to authorities, a criminal case under article “threat or violence concerning the employee of law enforcement body”, the sanction of article provides till five years of imprisonment.
