After three years of absence, the Printemps Déz-ip-pé “private import” wine fair is back. There will be more than 600 cuvées for tasting and about 400 available for purchase individually (normally, “IP” can only be purchased by the case of six or twelve bottles). There will even be an online store from March 24 to 27. The show takes place on Sunday, March 26 for the general public (passes start at $40) and the following day for industry professionals.
If you’re in Quebec on Tuesday, March 21, stop by Nina Pizza Napolitaine Saint-Roch (but book ahead!) for a tasting of Vin dans les voiles agency products and Aurea Mediocritas ciders. It’s 1 to 4 p.m. for catering professionals, and 4 to 7 p.m. for everyone. Note, however, that the Nina’s kitchen will be closed. The pizzeria only lends the space.
