Earlier, the Russian actor Nikita Dzhigurda challenged the domestic fighter of MMA Alexander Emelianenko, who criticized him. It happened after the showman has expressed its intention to compete in the ring with journalist Vladimir Solovyov.
In an interview with radio station “Moscow speaking” Nikita Dzhigurda said that on Monday Emelianenko called him personally and explained the situation. The wrestler did not make offensive statements about the artist.
“In the papers there was a comment Alexander Emelianenko, he commented on my challenge Solovyov. And I, being the people’s artist of the Chechen Republic and the honored artist of Kabardino-Balkaria, defending the honor, offered to Alexander or to apologize, or to go with me to the Boxing ring, knowing that it will end with a knockout on his part. A happy event, the day before yesterday I called Alexander and explained the situation. I was sent a video where he never mentions me. He speaks of Soloviev and about a showman. I am very glad significant that Alexander called and explained the situation. He’s a real man, a real fighter. I’m glad he did not say those words to me that journalists spread.”
On may 1, the chair called for a duel of Vladimir Solovyov. The musician criticized the broadcaster for libel in his address.
