Cristiano Ronaldo keeps writing interesting stories. Now his former team-mate Weston McKennie is reporting on a swank attack by the Portuguese. It is about a situation during their time together at Juventus Turin.
Cristiano Ronaldo now plays for Al-Nassr FC in Saudi Arabia. But there are always interesting stories from the past of the Portuguese. One of them is now told by Weston McKennie.
The ex-Schalke player played with Ronaldo from 2020 to 2021 at Juventus Turin. McKennie is now under contract with Leeds United. When he was introduced there, he reported on a swank fit by his teammate at the time: “I’ll tell you a story about Ronaldo. He just got a massage. I walked past him and told him his feet looked awful.”
Ronaldo is said to have replied simply: “My friend, these feet are worth a billion. All McKennie could say was, “You’re absolutely right, respect.”
Before moving to Italy, Ronaldo played for Real Madrid from 2009 to 2018. The royals had the superstar’s legs insured for at least 206 million euros after a knee injury. So Ronaldo was exaggerating, but his legs and feet are worth a lot indeed.
