An armed perpetrator and an accomplice attacked a money transporter on the premises of the Virchow Clinic in Berlin-Wedding. The man with the gun approached the driver on Monday afternoon and threatened him with death if he did not open the side door, police said.
When the driver opened the door, a second man appeared and took several cash boxes out of the van. According to the police, both perpetrators fled in a car in an unknown direction. They broke through the barrier of one of the campus exits. A specialist commissioner of the State Criminal Police Office took over the investigation.
