Jack Grealish justifies his boisterous celebration after winning the title with Manchster City, pointing to the behavior of his team-mates. He feels he has been treated unfairly.
Endless party after a mixed season: Despite a rather modest season personally, Jack Grealish celebrated winning the English championship title in his first year at Manchester City. Some criticized the 26-year-old, who joined City from Aston Villa for €117.5m in the summer of 2021. In 39 competitive games he had only contributed six goals.
Short, compact, clear
Grealish justifies himself: For the Englishman it was the first title win of his career. As the Express reports, Grealish now complains that he is being treated differently than his England team-mates, who have also holidayed in Ibiza, Marbella and Las Vegas since the end of the season.
First team party, then Ibiza: Grealish had a hoarse voice the morning after the triumph before the side took an open-top bus through central Manchester. After a night of drinking with the team, he was flown on to Ibiza, where he was pictured with Wayne Lineker, brother of soccer icon Gary Lineker, at his club Ocean Beach.
