(Montreal) Disney is imitating its big competitor Netflix and will crack down on password sharing.

The streaming service has updated its user policy to clarify to its subscribers that they are now prohibited from sharing their subscription outside of their household.

In an email sent to its subscribers last night, Disney indicates that changes have been made to its subscription contract, some of which concern password sharing.

This update will take effect from the next billing for subscribers in Quebec, or November 1 elsewhere.
