Dillingen large-scale operation on Saturday morning in the Dillinger industrial port. Around 8.30 am, an approximately 80-metre long barge on the South quay was at the loading crane. As the ship was loaded by the crane, it came to the accident: The “Aqua Sprinter II” broke suddenly in the middle!
parts of the 1983-built ship (creates actually 2.133 tons of cargo) sank, it’s only the bow and stern out of the water. The charge, about 1,200 tons of heavy dust also sank in the harbour basin.
