Two members of the state Corporation “Roscosmos” has died. They had a confirmed diagnosis COVID-19, said the Deputy head of Roskosmos Oleg Frolov, writes TASS.
According to Frolov, deceased was 62 and 68 years. Both died in hospitals. However, due to bilateral pneumonia died another employee at the age of 58 years: “Employee of another enterprise, who was in the list with suspected coronavirus disease, died due to bilateral pneumonia at the age of 58 years.”
“on behalf of management of the Corporation, and personally, I would like to bring condolences to the families who lost their loved ones. We will provide them all necessary support”, — said Frolov.
In Roscosmos said that at the moment the total number of employees of the enterprises of the space industry, infected by the new coronavirus infection has reached 42 people.
As of April 17, Russia has more than 32 thousand people infected with coronavirus. In Moscow for the day 1959 identified cases.
