Musician Florian Schneider died at the age of 83 years. He was one of the founders of the German band Kraftwerk, who have made a significant contribution to the creation of electronic music. According to Belgian radio RTBF, the musician died a few days ago. Cause of death was cancer. French newspaper Ouest France the composer’s death was confirmed by his relatives, but did not specify the cause of death. Kraftwerk was founded by Florian Schneider and Ralph Hutera in düsseldorf in 1968. Kraftwerk are the creators of the electro. Literally the name translates from German as the “powerhouse”. Florian Schneider left the band in 2008. One of the Moscow concerts of the group — in the material “Kommersant” “measure Three times before you”.
