MOSCOW, 18 Jul – RIA Novosti. Deputy Mosobldumy Ivan Zhukov died from COVID-19 this morning, the Governor of Moscow region Andrei Vorobyov has proposed to award him a medal posthumously. He stated this at a meeting with members of the regional government.
“this morning died, as we all called him, who have been acquainted with him, Ivan Zhukov, Ivan Nikolaevich Zhukov. (…) The bright memory of him. I think I speak for all of us to award him the order “For valor and courage,” he said in the TV channel “360”.
According to the press service of the Moscow regional Duma, Zhukov was Deputy Mosobldumy II, III, IV and V convocations. In 2016, re-elected as MP for another term.
