American jazz drummer Jimmy Cobb died on 92-m to year of life. On Monday told the NPR radio, citing the wife of a musician.
According to the radio, Cobb died Sunday at his home in new York. Cause of death was lung cancer.
Jimmy Cobb was an original member of the jazz band the legendary miles Davis, the founder of the so-called cool-jazz and jazz-rock. Cobb also collaborated with other famous musicians and performers such as Dinah Washington, Clark Terry and bill Evans.
