Actor and Director, honored art worker of Russia Vladimir Golub has died after a long illness. He was 82 years old. This was reported on the website of the Alexandrinsky theatre.
“the remarkable talent of the Director was evident in Comedy, where improvisation was always present the element of acting. His performances long gone from the repertoire, by using great success with the audience,” reads the statement of the theatre.
Vladimir Golub had served at the Alexandrinsky theatre from 1987 to 2006. He put on the stage 16 productions, including “Lysistrata”, “Alexander Nevsky”, “His people — are numbered” and “Braking in heaven”.
blue was a graduate of the Theatre school named after BV Shchukin. In the 1970s he was head of the Bryansk regional drama theatre named after Alexey Tolstoy, and in 1983 he was the chief Director of the Ulyanovsk regional drama theatre.
In the blue direction came from the acting profession. He played both on stage and in film, for example, playing in a military picture “the Last shot” in 1960.
